5 WAYS TO SET UP GORGEOUS BACKYARD SEATING

Summer season is waning and the little ones are going back to school. Ideally this summer is leaving you with happy memories of backyard cook-outs or the sound of the kids playing hide and seek in the yard. While you hung out in your back garden did you indulge in it to the fullest? Or did you feel like a little something was lacking? Did you regularly pull seats in and out of your house or rearrange them around in the backyard for guests when entertaining?

If you found yourself struggling with your backyard seating, wanting it to feature more ambiance, increased space, or just more character, you are definitely in luck! There are some really exciting ways to add incredible backyard seating areas right within your existing landscape. Architectural Digest recently did a piece on outdoor seating and we wanted to extend our faves to you along with others.  When these ideas are created successfully they can be attractive and practical at the same time and you will certainly revel in your backyard landscape much more. When you have a living space you love to be in you’ll only want to be in that spot more often.

1. Integrated Benches
If you have a concrete or limestone patio in your landscape you can include a cement or limestone bench right into it along the sides. This looks excellent when up against a wall with some decorative pillows to make it suitable for sitting.

2. A Sofa Bed With Veils
This is a lovely way to incorporate some nice style to your backyard landscape. The soft cushions provide the comfort to sit or lay down and hang out outdoors. And the flowy curtains add in pleasant calming motion to the setting whilst the breeze blows.

3. A Hanging Lounger
If your home has a walk through outdoor patio space or an overhang durable enough to hold a good amount of weight, you could incorporate a hanging lounger. These are decadently ideal for taking it easy in the backyard and relaxing. They can seat quite a few folks at a time for social celebrations.

4. An Antique Bed
Antique bed frames can be used in different ways to put together an inviting spot to lounge in the backyard. With a bed similar to this adding in colorful toss pillows and textiles to spruce it up a tad and award it much more character.

5. Incorporated Wood deck Seating
When working with restricted space you can easily build the wood deck into some seating. By designing it up into benches you can be sure it flows properly with the shape and size of the deck. Including an inviting cushion on the wood surface, a few throw pillows, and built-in light can make this place truly stylish and pleasant.

Whenever improving your backyard landscape to deliver additional seating it is generally ideal to begin with the elements you already possess in your space. A landscape designer can help you pick out the best components that are going to best suit your personal style and which will certainly work inside your present landscape.
